Israel, Islam and Politics

From a Christian perspective no other nation has more a right to the piece of property on which they live than does Israel. The Bible says that God gave the land of Israel to them. And he specified the borders. Israel presently occupies only a fraction of what God gave them. The Muslims have no basis for their complaints or their claim to the land. Even their Koran itself says, We said thereafter to the Children of Israel, "Dwell securely in the land (of promise)" [Koran 17.104] Are the Muslims allowing Israel to dwell securely in the land of promise?

In the Middle East, the Muslims are generally neither interested in a real peace nor even in caring for Muslim refugees. We see this especially concerning Afganistan refugees. Muslims care little for the poor, but rather use them as pawns in their political ploys. Consider the Palestinian Muslims who put their children on the front line and teach their children to become suicide bombers and terrorists contrary to the Koran which says, "Kill not your children for fear of want." [Koran 17:31] Like their namesake - the Philistines - they pass their children through the fire as an offering to their god, and worst than this, for there are many more innocent victims in such incidents. They try to arrouse sympathy from the world for their death of the children, but they are the ones killing their own children. And as for Palestinian "refugees", why is it that the Muslims have 99% of the Middle East and yet refuse to accept their Islamic brethren into their own countries? It's because the whole Palestinian issue has been fabricated by the Muslims to justify killing Jews. It's not about the land. I wouldn't put it above their sense of morality to completely devastate the land of Israel with nuclear or biological weapons. The Muslims are making a mess of the land, just like they seem to make a mess where ever they are - What Middle Eastern Islamic country has shown itself superior in dealing justly, caring for the poor, generous to its neighbor?  None, nor can they even endure a democratic form of government. There is little freedom in such countries. Christians can become Muslims, but it is illegal and punishable by death in many countries for Muslims to become Christians. They freely accept handouts just so the hand that feeds them doesn't also feed them ideas or ideologies contrary to their version of Islam. Americans in particular have shown more care to the poor and afflicted Muslims in the Middle East than their own Islamic goverments have shown, even though these same poor reckon Americans to be their enemies! While as Christians we love our enemies, the Middle Eastern Muslims don't even appear to love their own people.

What should the US do? First of all we must understand that "treaties" mean little to the Islamic savage. Mohammed himself broke a treaty when he got the upper hand and slaughtered his "enemy." Much as they claim to abide by their holy book, when it comes to relationships with non-Muslims these are lawless people, liars and untrustworthy. The Koran says, "How can there be a league, before Allah and His Apostle, with the Pagans, ... seeing that if they get an advantage over you, they respect not in you the ties either of kinship or of covenant? With (fair words from) their mouths they entice you, but their hearts are adverse from you; and most of them are rebellious and wicked." [Koran 9:8] Yet in hypocrisy it's the Middle Eastern Muslims who demonstrate these very characteristics.  They neither care nor take it to heart. Where is their repentant attitude? When their people destroyed the World Trade Center killing thousands, Muslims were too busy defending Islam to consider that such an act is indeed a reflection of the practice and attitude of modern day Islam predominant in much of the world today. Why have they allowed such an attitude to propogate among Muslims? Why have Muslims not spoken up against Islamic terrorism in the past? Muslims are like the proud religious elite among the religious leaders of Jesus' day who ended up crucifying him. While reckoning themselves to be so morally superior to others they prove themselves rather to be inferior. And much as I disagree with their ideology it appears that communists are more civilized then the Middle Eastern Muslims. Afghanistan would have been better off under a communist regime. Meanwhile it appears that only the Christians turn to God in such moments of crisis to consider whether we are worthy of God's protection from such bloodthirsty murderers, or whether God has allowed the Islamic terrorists to succeed because we have failed to live up to God's standards. That may be one factor. But I think more to the point is that God is sick and tired of Islamic terrorists, and so allowed them to succeed in something devastating so that the world may unite against them. Interesting though that Middle Easterners would rather blame the US for their problems rather than blaming themselves. While the US provides all kinds of aid to those countries, we get the blame for their problems. But when their people invade our country many of us stop and consider whether we've been a good neighbor. And when we try to bring those responsible to justice the Muslims don't offer their help freely. But rather we have to pay them off so that we can seek justice. And no doubt the Muslims will continue to try to profit from WTC episode.

In contrast American Muslims have been able to live in the US peacably. And I exhort all Americans to let them live in peace. We are not savages like much of the Muslim community abroad. They've had the right to speak freely against Christianity and Judaism and against American policies without restriction, because of their constitutional rights. People have freedom of religion here. They can change religions without fear of being put to death or even have no religion at all. Yet we all live in peace. WHY CAN'T THE REST OF THE WORLD DO THAT?

Americans, ignoring the positive influences of our Christian heritage, often presume today that "democracy" is the solution to everything. But democracy is only beneficial if people are prepared for it. People need to change before forms of government. It's stupid to hand out weapons in the name of propagating "democracy" only to end up being betrayed by those same people we gave the weapons to. They don't have a sense of Judeo-Christian morality. The US should stop giving weapons to Muslims. Haven't they proven to be irresponsible enough? What really needs to change is something which the US cannot do directly. What needs to change is the Muslim's concept of Jihad and it's application to non-Muslims. That's seems to me to be more up to the Muslims than anyone else. If the world cannot be freed from Islamic terrorism, it's the Muslim's fault for not adapting a more civilized interpretation of their holy book. Best of course if their Muslims leave their bloodthirsty religion and become Christians instead, but that's up to them. But they need the opportunity to hear to the gospel. Given the ignorance and suppression of the communication of different ideas, we need to seek and open up channels of communication with Muslims. But once again that's more up to them than it is up to us. We're willing to talk if they're willing to listen.

“The emperor comes to speak about the issue of jihad, holy war,” Benedict said. “He said, I quote, ’Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”’

Am I the only one to recognize the hypocrisy? Seems to me the fruit of Islam is just at was back then.

1. kill them
2. make them our slaves
3. have them convert to islam
4. collect taxes from them while continue to practice their religion in secret

Rape can indeed be linked to Islamic teachings of Jihad, and even to the example of Muhammad himself, his Sunna. The Islamic legal manual ‘Umdat al-Salik, which carries the endorsement of Al-Azhar University, the most respected authority in Sunni Islam, stipulates: “When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman’s previous marriage is immediately annulled.” Why? So that they are free to become the concubines of their captors. The Qur’an permits Muslim men to have intercourse with their wives and their slave girls: “Forbidden to you are ... married women, except those whom you own as slaves” (Sura 4:23-24).

After one successful battle, Muhammad tells his men, “Go and take any slave girl.” He took one for himself also. After the notorious massacre of the Jewish Qurayzah tribe, he did it again. According to his earliest biographer, Ibn Ishaq, Muhammad “went out to the market of Medina (which is still its market today) and dug trenches in it. Then he sent for [the men of Banu Qurayza] and struck off their heads in those trenches as they were brought out to him in batches.” After killing “600 or 700 in all, though some put the figure as high as 800 or 900,” the Prophet of Islam took one of the widows he had just made, Rayhana bint Amr, as another concubine.

Above all, it is connected to Islamic notions of the role of women in society, and their behaviour in the public sphere. An Islamic Mufti in Copenhagen sparked a political outcry after publicly declaring that women who refuse to wear headscarves are "asking for rape." Apparently, he isn’t the only Muslim in Europe to think this way:

The German journalist Udo Ulfkotte told in a recent interview that in Holland, you can now see examples of young, unveiled Moroccan women with a so-called "smiley". It means that the girl gets one side of her face cut up from mouth to ear, serving as a warning to other Muslim girls who should refuse to wear the veil. In the Muslim suburb of Courneuve, France, 77 per cent of the veiled women carry veils reportedly because of fear of being harassed or molested by Islamic moral patrols.

Hijab, the Islamic veil, is thus not ”just a piece of cloth”. It serves as a demarcation line between proper, submissive Muslim women and whores, un-Islamic women who deserve no respect and are asking for rape. The veil should more properly be viewed as the uniform of a Totalitarian movement, and a signal to attack those outside the movement. Judged in the light of the Mufti who said that women who don’t wear it are asking for rape, how on earth can the veil be said to be about ”choice”? The freedom to choose not to be raped if you dress in a normal fashion in your own country? Is that what freedom is about in Europe in 2005?

But let's not forget the Muslim's are also doing their best to be the world's hypocrites, so you will find that while they may in word condemn rape, in practice they are increasingly becoming the world's rapists.

They have taught their tongues to lie; they weary themselves with sinning. You live in the midst of deception; in their deceit they refuse to acknowledge me," declares the LORD. Therefore this is what the LORD Almighty says: "See, I will refine and test them, for what else can I do because of the sin of my people?  Their tongue is a deadly arrow; it speaks with deceit. With his mouth each speaks cordially to his neighbor, but in his heart he sets a trap for him.  Should I not punish them for this?" declares the LORD. "Should I not avenge myself on such a nation as this?" Jer 9:3-9
